We operate out of B 49 in Sector 56, over in Noida, though we have ties to Lucknow too. The office here in India is where we do all the market research work. It’s a pretty standard building, nothing that would make you stop and stare. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of data sheets. Market research is one of those things that sounds a bit dry, and to be honest, some days it really is. We spend hours looking at what people are buying and why they like certain things. There is a lot of coffee involved and sometimes we argue about what the numbers are actually saying. Sector 56 is a decent area, not too crowded but busy enough that there’s always somewhere to grab a quick lunch. We aren't trying to change the world or anything; we just provide the data that people ask for. The team is small and we’ve mostly known each other for a few years, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don't bother with fancy titles or long meetings. If someone has a question, they just shout across the room. It’s a practical way to run a business. We handle the surveys and the reports, and then we go home. It’s a job like any other, done by people who appreciate a bit of routine and a steady paycheck. The Lucknow connection comes in sometimes, but Noida is where the bulk of the daily grind happens for us.
