GURJAS ENTERPRISES

You can find Gurjas Enterprises on the second floor of GI-29, right along G.T. Karnal Road. It is a busy area with a lot of trucks passing by at all hours of the day and night. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the road, but mostly we just see the tops of the containers moving past. We handle a variety of goods and supplies, acting as a middle ground for many local businesses. It is a lot of lifting, counting, and checking manifests. The stairs up to our place are a bit steep, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it suits us just fine. We are not the type to spend money on fancy furniture when the old wooden desks work perfectly well. My brother and I run the place with one or two others helping out when things get really swamped. We do not have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just believe in showing up on time and making sure the orders are correct before they go out the door. G.T. Karnal Road is a tough place to work sometimes because of the dust and the noise, but it is where the business is. We have made a lot of friends among the drivers and the other shop owners around here. It is just a normal business trying to stay busy.
