Friends Musical Group

Friends Musical Group is based out of Jawahar Colony in the NIT area of Faridabad. We’re located at 2217/46 on Air Force Road. It’s a lively part of town and there’s always music of some kind playing around here. We are a group that handles musical performances for different occasions. It started out with just a few of us who liked playing instruments, and then it turned into this. The place where we meet is full of instrument cases, cables, and some old amplifiers. It’s definitely not a corporate office. We spend a lot of time practicing and talking about which songs work best for different crowds. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a string breaks or the power goes out, but we just deal with it. People in Faridabad know us from various community events and small gatherings. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to clients. We just ask what kind of music they want and tell them what we can do. Most of our bookings happen because someone saw us playing somewhere else. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve been together as a group for quite a while now, and we’ve seen a lot of changes in the NIT area. We just enjoy the music and the chance to be part of someone’s celebration. It’s a lot of work carrying gear around, but we keep doing it.
