Our office is over at D-37 in the DDA Flats in Pandav Nagar. It’s pretty close to the Satyam Cineplex in Patel Nagar, which is how we usually tell people to find us. Exchange4Media.Com has been running out of this flat for a while. It’s a typical Delhi residential building, so it doesn't feel like a corporate office at all. We have desks set up in the different rooms. We spend our days writing news stories about the media and advertising world. It can be quite loud when everyone is typing and talking on their phones at the same time. The kitchen is where we keep the water cooler and the tea bags. Pandav Nagar is a busy area, and the parking is always a bit of a struggle if you come in late. We can hear the traffic and the street noise all day long. Sometimes we take a break and walk over toward the cinema just to stretch our legs. It’s a practical setup for a news team. We don't have fancy furniture or a big meeting room. We just use the dining table if we all need to sit down and talk about something. The internet is our most important tool, and we get annoyed when the power goes out, though the backup usually kicks in eventually. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere where we just focus on getting the latest stories posted on the site before the day ends.
