Event Design Studio

We have been running Event Design Studio for a while now from our office on the second floor here in Uttam Nagar. It is right in Rama Park, near that Peepal Wali Gali everyone knows. Mostly we just deal with the day-to-day work of getting things ready for events. People come in and ask for things, and we try to make them happen. It’s not always easy, especially when the traffic gets bad around Delhi, but we manage. My team and I spend a lot of time just talking through how to set things up so they don't fall over or look messy. We use the space we have in A 112 to keep our papers and ideas. It's just a regular office, nothing too fancy. We have lived around here for years, so we know the local area quite well. Sometimes things get a bit hectic when two or three jobs come at once, but that is just how this business goes. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a place to sit and talk. We get our supplies from the local markets and try to keep things moving. Most days, you will find one of us sorting through photos or checking on things at a site. It's a lot of manual work and coordination. We just try to get the job done so people can have their gathering without too much fuss. That’s pretty much us.
