Our company, Eastern Infomedia Pvt Ltd, is located in the middle of Saraffa Bazar in Meerut. Specifically, we are right by Meerut Jewellers in Neel Gali. If you know the area, you know how busy the gold market gets. It is narrow and packed with people almost every day. We’ve been based here for quite a while now. Being in Neel Gali means we see a lot of the local life up close. It’s a historic part of town and the buildings are old but they have character. Our office is a bit small but we make it work. We share the street with all kinds of vendors and shops. The smell of street food is always drifting in through the windows. It can be a bit distracting when you’re hungry. We don't have a fancy entrance, just a door like everyone else on the lane. We do our daily work here, mostly on computers, which feels a bit strange in such an old-fashioned market. But that’s just how it is. We know the other shopkeepers around us and we usually say hello in the mornings. It’s a tight-knit community in Saraffa Bazar. We like the hustle and bustle. It makes the day go by faster. We are just a local business doing our thing in a very busy corner of Meerut. The stairs up to our place are quite narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. We’ve lived with the constant sound of gold being hammered nearby for years. It’s almost soothing once you get used to it. Our walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint.
