We are up on the second floor of C-34, right in the middle of the Main Market in Madhu Vihar. Being in I P Extension means it is always crowded around our building. You have to walk through the market noise and head up the stairs to find us. Our office is usually full of stacks of paper, books, and manuscripts waiting to be checked. It’s a bit of a squeeze with all the shelves we have packed into the rooms. We’ve been doing this for years, so we’re used to the smell of ink and the sound of the printers running in the background. It’s not a quiet library type of place; it’s more of a working office where people are constantly talking about layouts and deadlines. We don't have a big reception area, so visitors usually just walk right into the middle of the work. Sometimes we lose track of time when we’re finishing up a publication and stay late while the market downstairs starts to close up. It’s a practical way to work, being right in the heart of a busy area where everything we need is close by. We aren't trying to be a big corporate publisher. We just like putting out good work from our little spot on the second floor. It’s a lot of manual proofreading and checking details, day after day. It keeps us quite busy all year.
