Dj Crown

Our shop is number 9 in Village Islampur. It’s right on Sohna Road in Gurgaon. We are quite close to Subash Chowk, which is a major junction. Gurgaon has changed a lot, but Islampur still feels like a village in many ways. Dj Crown is a small place. We have our sound systems and lighting rigs stacked up against the walls. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction happening nearby. We are usually busy testing out the amplifiers or soldering some loose wires. The shop isn't big, so we often end up doing some of the work out on the pavement. People walking by always stop to look when we have the lights flashing. We don't have a corporate office or a sales team. It’s just us doing the technical stuff. Sometimes we have to deal with the heavy traffic on Sohna Road to get to a venue. It can be a real headache. We’ve been in this village spot for a while now and the locals know us. We keep things simple and don't use any marketing tricks. If the sound is good, it’s good. That’s all there is to it. We drink a lot of tea and spend most of our time thinking about cables and connectors. It’s a regular life, nothing too fancy. We just enjoy the music and the work we do.
