Diya And Company is located at 485, G.T. Road in Shahdara. This is one of the busiest roads you can imagine. From the moment we open up, there’s a constant stream of traffic, buses honking, and people rushing by. Our building is right there on the main stretch. It’s an old place, and you can feel the vibrations of the heavy trucks passing by on G.T. Road. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the area change a lot. The office is small and usually filled with stacks of papers and ledger books. We don’t really believe in all that digital stuff as much as we should, maybe, but the old way works for us. It’s a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep it tidy. Most of the people who work here are locals from the Shahdara area. We know the shopkeepers next door and we usually share a cup of tea in the afternoon when things slow down a tiny bit. It’s a very straightforward business. We don’t have any marketing people or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just handle our daily orders and make sure the accounts are right. If you come by, you’ll probably see me sitting at the front desk. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the pace of G.T. Road, but we’ve been doing it for years.
