Devi Tent House

Devi Tent House is located in Shastri Nagar at B-1440. We are just a local business that handles things for parties and functions. Most of our stuff is kept in a large storage area where we have piles of carpets, folded chairs, and bundles of cloth. It’s not a very fancy setup, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or out at different sites setting things up. Shastri Nagar is a busy area, so moving our trucks in and out can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We have a small team of guys who do the heavy lifting. They are good at what they do and can get a whole setup done in a few hours. We’ve been around here for quite some time, so most of the locals know who to call when they have a wedding or a small prayer meet at home. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Usually, it's just someone telling their neighbor about us. The work is very seasonal. Some months we are working day and night, and other times it’s very quiet and we just spend the time cleaning the equipment and mending the torn fabrics. It’s a practical business. We just focus on getting the tents up and making sure there are enough chairs for everyone. That’s our life here at B-1440.
