Deepak Enterpriess

Deepak Enterpriess has been sitting here at Shop No 32/3 in Bazar Lane for quite some time. Bhogal is a crowded market, and our shop is right in the thick of it. It’s a small space, really just a counter and some shelves packed to the ceiling with whatever we’re trading at the time. Most of the day is spent chatting with the regulars or the other shopkeepers nearby. We don't have a lot of room to move around, so you have to be careful not to knock anything over. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, if I’m being honest. We don't have a fancy computer system to track everything; we mostly just use a notebook and a pen. Working in Bazar Lane means you have to deal with the noise and the dust every single day. We don't mind it too much though. It’s just how life is here. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just open up the shutters in the morning and wait for the first customer. Sometimes it’s busy and we don’t even have time for lunch, and other days we just sit and watch the rain. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to keep the shop going and maybe earn enough to have a decent dinner. It’s a simple life and we’ve gotten used to it over the years. That is basically all there is to us.
