We've been set up here at 15 Nb, Block A in New Alipore for a while now. Kolkata is a busy place, and our office is right in the thick of things in 700053. It’s a standard workspace where we handle the daily grind for the group. Most of us get here early because the traffic around New Alipore can get pretty bad if you’re late. The building isn't anything fancy, just a regular spot where the work gets done. We spend most of our time looking at reports and coordinating things between different departments. There’s always someone running around with papers or on a call. It’s not always quiet, but that’s how a news-related office usually feels. We have our desks cluttered with notes and the tea guy comes by twice a day which helps everyone stay awake. Sometimes the elevator acts up, so we take the stairs. It's just a regular group of people working hard to keep things moving. We don't really have big meetings in glass rooms, just quick chats over coffee. Every day is pretty much the same routine but there is always something new to deal with because of the nature of the industry. We just try to get through the pile of work on our desks before the sun goes down. It's a decent place to work if you like being part of a big name but in a local setting.
