Cigma Events, Gurgaon

Even though the name says Cigma Events, Gurgaon, we’re actually based over in Naraina, New Delhi. We’re in Flat No. 8 on the third floor of the Shiv Shakti Apartments. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs, but we’re used to it. The apartment serves as our office, which works out okay for us. We do a lot of event stuff, so we’re often out of the office anyway, setting things up or meeting people. When we are here, it’s mostly just planning and making a lot of phone calls. The space is filled with samples, leftover decorations, and clipboards. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We started doing this because we like the buzz of putting things together. It can be pretty stressful when an event is coming up and things aren't ready. We’ve had some close calls, but we always manage to pull it off somehow. We aren't some high-end corporate agency with a fancy reception. It’s just us in a flat in Naraina, trying to make things happen. We drink a lot of tea and spend way too much time on our phones. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s how we work best. Parking around here is a nightmare, so we usually just take the bus or a rickshaw when we need to head out to see a client or a venue. We've been here for a while and the location actually works quite well for getting across the city.
