Celebration World

If you find yourself in Lajpat Nagar 1, you might come across Celebration World on the first floor of G 55. Lajpat Nagar is one of those places in Delhi that never seems to sleep, and being right in the middle of it is both good and exhausting. We deal with all the things people need when they are having a party or a small celebration at home. Our shelves are usually overflowing with decorations, and it can be a bit of a mess sometimes. We aren't a big event planning firm with a huge staff. It’s mostly just us helping people pick out what they need for a birthday or an anniversary. The first-floor shop is a bit cramped, but it’s full of character. We’ve been here in Delhi for a while, and we’ve seen the trends change from simple balloons to all kinds of elaborate themes. We don't try to be something we aren't; we just provide the supplies and a bit of advice if someone asks for it. The market outside is always crowded, which makes deliveries a bit of a challenge. You have to get used to the noise of the street and the constant stream of people looking for a bargain. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks to get people in the door. Most of our customers are locals who know where we are. It’s a practical, local business that keeps us busy from morning until the market finally shuts down for the night.
