We’re over in Sector 50, Noida. C-403 at Stellar Kings Court is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s a residential-ish area, so it’s a bit quieter than the main hubs, which is nice for actually getting things finished. Carat Media Services India Ltd sounds like a big name, but inside it’s just us sitting at desks with our screens. We’ve got a phone line that rings more than it should, sometimes it’s just wrong numbers. The air conditioning is always a bit too cold or not cold enough. You know how those office buildings are. We deal with media stuff all day. It’s a lot of coordination and checking lists. Sometimes we stay late and order food from the place downstairs. The parking in Sector 50 can be a bit of a gamble if you arrive after ten in the morning. We don’t really have a big reception area with a fancy sign. It’s more about the work we’re doing on the computers. Most of the staff has been here for a couple of years. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes to eat. It’s a practical setup. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a posh lobby. We just focus on the tasks at hand. It works for us. If you call the number, someone will usually pick up unless we’re all out for a break. We’ve got some old plants by the window that really need a bit of water today, but we keep forgetting. That's just how it is.
