Business Media (Ubm) in New Delhi is located on the ground floor of L-169 in Sarita Vihar. Our work is mainly centered around business media and organizing trade events for different industries. It sounds complicated but it really comes down to a lot of planning and making sure everyone has what they need when they show up at an exhibition. We spend a lot of time sitting in this office looking at floor plans and talking to contractors who build the stalls. It is a very practical kind of job. We don't have a corporate atmosphere here; it’s more like a small workshop where we are always busy with the next project. Sarita Vihar is a quiet enough neighborhood and we have been based here for several years. We often have boxes of brochures and old event badges lying around the office. Things can get pretty stressful when an event is just a few days away and we are still waiting on deliveries or confirmations. We don't try to sugarcoat the work. It is often tiring and involves a lot of standing around in big halls, but we are used to it by now. We just try to keep things organized so that the businesses who participate in our events have a good experience. It’s about being reliable and making sure the basic stuff gets handled properly every single time.
