Builder Information Bureau

Builder Information Bureau is located over at 70 Kochhar House on Babar Road. We’ve been in Connaught Place for a long time, and anyone who works in CP knows how the parking and traffic can be a real headache. Our office is a bit of a hub for information regarding the building trade. It’s mostly stacks of papers, old maps, and people coming in to check on records or ask about specific projects. We started this because there was a real need for clear info in the construction world. It’s not flashy work, mostly just digging through details and making sure the facts are right. Being in CP means we’re right in the middle of everything, which is handy but also very noisy during the day. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped with all the files we keep, but that’s just how it goes when you’ve been around as long as we have. We don’t have a big reception desk or fancy coffee machines here. Usually, it's just us at our desks, drinking chai and talking to contractors or developers who need to know what’s happening on the ground. It can be a bit dry, looking at building specs all day, but it’s what we do. We know the streets around here like the back of our hand. People drop by after their lunch breaks to catch up on the latest news in the building sector and we always have a spare chair for them.
