Bhaskar Group Of Publications, also known as DBCL, has an office in Jaipur at B-36, Kiti Nagar, which is right on Tonk Road behind the Jain Temple. This is where we handle various aspects of our publishing work. Jaipur is a great city to be in, though the heat can be quite intense during the summer months. Our office is a busy place, especially when we are getting close to the time when the papers need to be finalized. We have been part of the local scene for a long time and many people around here know us. It’s not a quiet job; there is always the sound of people talking and the hum of machinery. We don't have any fancy mission statements plastered on the walls. We just focus on getting the publications out to the readers every day. It involves a lot of long hours and sometimes things don't go according to plan, like when a story falls through or there is a problem with the delivery. We just roll with the punches and find a way to make it work. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel with stacks of old newspapers and coffee mugs everywhere.
