Bharat Prakashan (Delhi) Ltd. (Organiser English Weekly)

At Bharat Prakashan (Delhi) Ltd., we put out the Organiser English Weekly. Our office is located at A9A in Green Park Main, New Delhi. It is an older building but it has plenty of character. Every week follows the same pattern of writing, editing, and getting things ready for the printer. There are usually stacks of papers on every desk and the sound of keyboards clicking all day long. Green Park is a nice area of Delhi with trees and some quiet streets, which helps when we need to focus. We have been here for a long time, so the office feels very lived-in. We don’t have glass walls or modern furniture. Instead, we have desks that have been through many deadlines. The staff is a mix of people who have worked here for decades and some newer faces. We don’t spend much time on self-promotion because the magazine keeps us busy enough. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are always the most stressful because that’s when everything needs to be finished. We drink a lot of tea to keep going during those long hours. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and we like the routine. We just try to get the facts right and keep the weekly schedule moving without any major problems. The building at A9A is our home away from home. We just show up and do the work every single day.
