Our office for Bag Films & Media is in a pretty active street where there is always something going on. Being in Pitam-Pura means we are surrounded by all sorts of other businesses and homes, so it feels very lived-in. The building at 114 is a solid place with a few floors. We mostly stay on our level, surrounded by the equipment and desks we need for our daily media tasks. It is not the kind of place with a lobby that has waterfalls or anything like that. We have some posters on the walls and plenty of cables running across the floor to keep everything connected. The lighting is bright, and the air conditioning is a necessity during those heavy Delhi summers. Sometimes the parking on the street is a real headache, so many of us prefer taking the metro or a cycle-rickshaw from the main road. We have a routine of starting early and staying until the job is done, often sharing a few snacks from the corner shop during the late afternoon slump. It is a practical workplace where we focus on the reality of our projects rather than how polished our office looks to outsiders. We are just a group of people at Kapil-Vihar doing our daily bit.
