American Express Services I Ltd

If you walk down Raj Guru Road in Pahar Ganj, you will find us at number 2710/7. It is right in the middle of New Delhi, so you can imagine how crowded and noisy it gets outside. American Express Services I Ltd has this office here, and it is a very busy place. Inside, you mostly hear the sound of keyboards clicking and people talking on their headsets. It is a bit of a contrast to the chaotic streets of Pahar Ganj just outside the doors. We have a lot of computers set up, and the air conditioning is always running to keep the Delhi heat out. The desks are usually covered in notes and coffee mugs. It isn’t a glamorous job, just a lot of data and customer files to deal with every single day. The building itself is older, like many in this part of town, so the elevators are slow and the hallways are narrow. We have a small area where we eat lunch, usually something someone brought from home or picked up from a nearby stall. It gets pretty intense when the workload picks up, but we are used to the pace by now. Working in Pahar Ganj means you never have a dull moment, even if you are just sitting in an office all day. We just try to stay organized and get through the pile of tasks assigned to us.
