Agni Media Pvt Ltd.(Tehelka)

Our office, Agni Media Pvt Ltd., is located in Prem Sadan, over in Khirki Extension, Malviya Nagar. It’s a bit tucked away in the A-2, E-13/6 section, so it’s not exactly on the main road. If you know Malviya Nagar, you know how tight the streets can be and how hard it is to find a parking spot. We handle work for Tehelka, so there is always some kind of news discussion going on in the background while we work. The office feels lived-in; there are stacks of old magazines and newspapers everywhere, and the furniture has seen better days, but it works for us. It’s not one of those shiny media hubs you see in movies. It’s just a place where people write, edit, and talk about what’s happening in the country. We have a small kitchen area where people make way too much tea during the day. Sometimes the lane outside gets blocked by a delivery truck, and everything just stops for a bit. It’s a very local vibe, and most of us know the guys at the shops nearby. We just focus on getting the stories out and keeping the office running. The atmosphere is usually quite serious because of the work we do, but we still have a laugh when things aren't too stressful. It’s just a regular Delhi office in a busy neighborhood where we try to do decent work every day.
