Aesthetics Event & Film Production

So, we are based out of L-16 in the DDA Flats at Sarita Vihar, right near Mathura Road. If you know New Delhi, you know NH-2 is always packed with trucks and cars, so it’s always a bit loud outside our windows. Aesthetics Event & Film Production is the name we use, but it’s basically just a small crew of us working out of these flats. It’s a bit cramped because we have cameras, lights, and bags of cables sitting in the corners. We do a lot of the planning here before we head out to different locations for shoots or events. The walls are a bit thin, so we hear the neighbors sometimes, and they probably hear us talking about scripts or schedules. It’s not a polished studio with soundproofing. We mostly just drink a lot of coffee and try to figure out how to make things look good on a budget. Being in Sarita Vihar is okay because it’s easy to get to other parts of Delhi, even if the traffic on Mathura Road is a nightmare most mornings. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. If someone comes by, they usually just knock on the door and walk into the middle of whatever we are editing. It’s a very hands-on kind of place where everyone does a bit of everything, from moving furniture to checking the sound levels.
