If you walk down Shankar Road in Old Rajender Nagar, you will find us at 3/35. Acting Padarpan Films And Theatre Institute is basically a place where people come to learn how to act and get a feel for the stage. The building is an older one, which fits the vibe of this part of Delhi. Every morning, students start showing up, and you can hear them practicing their lines or doing vocal exercises from the street. It is not always quiet around here, especially when a rehearsal is going on. We have small rooms where people work on their scripts and try out different characters. It is a bit crowded sometimes because we have a lot of scripts, old props, and chairs squeezed into the space. The walls have some posters from past plays we have done over the years. We spend a lot of time just talking about theater and how to move on stage. It is not some high-end film studio with bright lights; it is more of a grounded place where people put in the actual work. Usually, there is someone sitting at the front desk handling the schedule or talking to parents who want to enroll their kids. Old Rajender Nagar is a busy residential area, so we get all kinds of people walking in to ask about the classes. It feels like a small community of folks who just really like being part of the theater world.
