Accell Enterprise

Accell Enterprise is tucked away at 1741, Lal Kuan. If you know Old Delhi, you know how crowded it gets near the Chawri Bazar Metro Station. Our shop is right in the thick of it in the Main Bazar. It’s a chaotic place with rickshaws and people constantly moving past the door. The building is old, with high ceilings and narrow stairs that creak every time you go up. We keep most of our stock in the back and in a small loft area. It’s dark inside compared to the bright street, so we have plenty of tube lights everywhere. Dealing with customers in this area means a lot of shouting over the noise of the market. We don't have a fancy showroom. It’s mostly just boxes and a counter where we write out receipts by hand. The metro station being so close is helpful for getting here, but the walk from the station through the crowds takes longer than you’d think. In the summer, the heat in Lal Kuan is heavy, and we just keep the doors open to catch any bit of wind. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we know all the other shopkeepers on the block. We drink a lot of chai from the boy who comes around with a tray every couple of hours. It’s a busy, dusty, and loud way to spend the day. We usually close up when the street lights come on.
