Aarohee

Aarohee is located at B-1/252 in Paschim Vihar, which is a much quieter neighborhood than the industrial parts of the city. We have a small storefront here that feels more like a part of the community than a big business. I spend a lot of my time arranging the displays or sitting near the door to see who is walking by. The address B-1/252 is easy to spot once you are on the right block. It is a clean space, though a bit small when we get more than three or four people inside at once. I like to keep the window clear so the light comes in, especially in the winter months. People from the nearby apartments often stop in just to say hello or to see what’s new on the shelves. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who take turns being here. Sometimes the deliveries are late, and I have to spend the afternoon on the phone, but usually, it is a peaceful way to spend the day. Paschim Vihar has changed a lot, with more shops opening up, but this little corner remains the same. I keep a small radio behind the counter that plays old songs while I work. It’s a simple life, running a shop in a residential area, and I enjoy the slow pace of it compared to the rest of Delhi.
