Aakar Tent & Decorators

Out here at E 56, Vipul World in Sector 48, things move a bit differently than in the middle of the city. We’re right on Sohna Road in Gurgaon, which means there is always traffic and plenty of dust from all the construction nearby. Aakar Tent & Decorators is where we handle all the heavy stuff. It’s mostly about moving poles, heavy cloth, and lights from one place to another. Tents are hard work, especially when the Gurgaon sun is beating down on you in the middle of June. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks. The office in Vipul World is where we sit down with people to show them pictures of what we can do for their weddings or functions. It’s not a very polished place, just some chairs and a lot of samples of fabric. We’ve been in Sector 48 for a good bit now, so we know how the wind can catch a tent if you don’t tie it down right. Sometimes we’re working late into the night to get a stage ready for the next morning. It’s tiring, but it’s the job. People around Sohna Road know us because we’ve been setting up for local parties for a long time. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just bring the tents, put them up, and take them down when the party is over.
