Our workplace is at House No 2056, in the C 2 block of Vasant Kunj. It’s a house that we’ve turned into an office for 20:20Media. Because it’s a house, it has a different feel than a typical office building. There is a small gate at the front and a bit of a driveway. Inside, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Vasant Kunj 110070 is a fairly quiet neighborhood, which is nice when we’re trying to concentrate. We have a lot of computers and some old sofas in the common area where we sit when we need a break. The kitchen is always full of tea mugs and half-empty biscuit packets. We aren’t really big on fancy decorations or corporate branding inside the office. Most of the walls are just plain, and we have calendars pinned up to keep track of things. Sometimes the mail gets delivered to the house next door because the numbering is a little strange on this street. We just walk over and pick it up. It is a very down-to-earth environment. No one wears suits here unless they really have to. We are just a team of people doing our thing in a regular house in Delhi. It’s comfortable and it serves its purpose for us.
