Disha Academy Of Commerce

Our academy is located on Kaulagarh Road, at 899/2, in the Rajendar Nagar part of Dehradun. We are situated behind the Hotel Chuttney Marry and not far from the Kishan Nagar Chowk. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic at that chowk, you know exactly where we are. The building is a bit of a walk from the main road, which helps keep the noise down a little. We focus entirely on commerce subjects here. Our rooms are filled with ledger books and calculators. It’s a very specific kind of place. We’ve got large tables where students can spread out their giant accountancy sheets. The lighting is good, which is important when you’re looking at small numbers all day. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the walls are covered in old photos and notices that have been there for years. There’s a certain rhythm to the day, starting with the morning batches and ending with the college students who come by in the evening. We don’t use a lot of fancy technology, mostly just chalk and talk. It seems to work better for these kinds of subjects anyway. The staff here is small, and we all do a bit of everything, from teaching to cleaning up the rooms at the end of the day. It’s a friendly place, and we usually know most of the people walking by our front door.
