The Asian School

Up here in Dehradun, specifically in the Vasant Vihar area, is where you’ll find The Asian School. It’s situated on Asian Acres, which is a decent-sized patch of land. Being in Indira Nagar means we are close to the main city but still have some breathing room. Dehradun has changed a lot over the years, but our spot here stays pretty much the same. We have a lot of kids coming through these gates every day. Some of them stay here, and others go home in the evening. The mornings usually start early when the air is still a bit cool. You can hear the noise from the playground from quite a distance away. We have various buildings for different classes and activities. It takes a lot of work to keep a place this size running smoothly. Our staff deals with everything from broken chairs to organizing the daily schedule. We don’t really go for that high-pressure corporate vibe you see in big city offices. It’s a school, so there’s always something happening, like a lost sweater or a forgotten lunch box. The trees around the campus give some nice shade during the hotter months. People know us as a regular part of the Indira Nagar landscape. It is a big responsibility looking after so many students, but we just take it one day at a time, making sure the gates are locked at night and the lights are off.
