Bhagwati Classes

Bhagwati Classes is situated near the Clock Tower in Dehradun, specifically in the Bhagwan Dass Quarter. If you know the Clock Tower, you know how busy this part of town can be. We are right in the middle of it all. I’ve been running these classes for a while, and it’s always interesting to see the different students who come through our doors. Our rooms are simple and practical. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just the stuff we need for teaching. I think a lot of the big centers focus too much on how things look, but here we just care if the student can solve the problem on the page. We cover the main school subjects for local kids. Being in the 248001 area means we get people from all over the city because the location is so central. Sometimes the noise from the street is quite loud, but we just close the windows and get on with it. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of teaching, I suppose. Just a teacher and a group of students working through a textbook. We don't have any secret methods. It’s just about repetition and practice. I’m usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. It’s my life's work, and I’m happy to keep doing it for the people of Dehradun.
