You can find us on the second floor of Mansingh Wala in Dehradun. It's right on 1st Negi Road in the Karanpur area. We are quite close to DBS College and the Central Bank, so it’s easy to spot if you are familiar with the landmarks. Home Tutor Fundamental Studies is basically a small setup we put together to help students who struggle with the basics. Dehradun is known for education, but sometimes the big schools move too fast. That's why we're here. The office isn't very large. We have a couple of rooms where we sit down with the kids. It can get a bit chilly in the winter, being in Dehradun and all, but we have some heaters. We don't have a marketing team or a sales department. It’s just us taking calls and teaching. We focus on the fundamentals because that’s where most problems start. It’s practical work. We see students coming in after their regular classes, looking a bit tired but ready to learn. We keep a stock of old textbooks and notes that we've gathered over the years. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the papers lying around. People usually hear about us through word of mouth in Karanpur. We don't do big advertisements. It’s just a local service for the city. If you need help with the basics, we’re up on the second floor. The view from the second floor isn't much, just the street below and the buildings across, but it’s home for us during the day. We have a small kettle for making tea when the afternoons get long. It’s those little things that keep us going. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help a few kids understand their math or science a bit better.
