Shooting isn't like other sports; it needs a lot of quiet and a very specific setup, so we’ve done our best to make this space work. It’s not a fancy stadium, just a local coaching center where we keep our equipment and practice our aim. The neighborhood around Karanpur is always full of life, so coming in here is like entering a different world where everything is about focus and breath control. We have our targets set up and we spend hours going over the basics with anyone who wants to learn. The building itself is an older one, and we’ve had to make some adjustments to ensure everything is safe and proper for shooting practice. We aren't big on talk or marketing; we’d rather let the practice speak for itself. Sometimes the rain in Dehradun makes the commute a bit difficult, but we are usually here regardless of the weather. It is a bit of a niche thing to do in a city full of academic tutors, but we like it. We have a small group of regulars who come in and we’ve become a bit of a tight-knit community over the years. That’s just how it is at No-89.
