Aaron Grooming Saloon

If you are ever in Dehradun City and walking through Nehru Colony, you might spot Aaron Grooming Saloon. We are right there, basically opposite the Suvidha Store, which everyone in the area knows. The shop is a place where guys can just sit down for a bit and get their hair sorted out without any fuss. We have the usual chairs, the mirrors, and the sound of scissors clipping away all day. It’s not a high-end spa or anything like that. It’s just a local barbershop where we know how to do a decent haircut or a clean shave. The weather in Dehradun can be nice, so we often keep the door open to let the breeze in while we work. We see all kinds of people, from young kids who can't sit still to the older gentlemen who have lived in Nehru Colony for decades. They usually have some stories to tell while they are in the chair. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for years. It’s a good life, being your own boss and meeting the neighborhood every day. We keep the place clean, the towels fresh, and the razors sharp. There isn't much more to it than that. When the sun starts to set over the hills, we start tidying up for the next day and getting everything ready for the morning crowd. It's just a regular shop for regular people.
