Thee Spasso

Thee Spasso is situated out on Mussoorie Road in the Kolukhet area of Dehradun. We are right by the side of the road that heads up into the mountains. It is a nice spot because the air starts to get cooler once you leave the main city behind. You can see the hills from our place and it feels a lot more open than being downtown. We have a bit of a terrace area where people can sit and look out at the scenery while they eat. It takes some effort to run a business out here. We have to make sure we have all our supplies brought up from Dehradun, which can be tricky if there is a lot of traffic on the weekends. Many of the people who stop by are travelers on their way to or from Mussoorie. They usually want a quick break from the drive. We also get some of the people who live in the small villages nearby. The building is just a plain structure, nothing too special to look at, but it works for what we need. We keep things tidy and just focus on the day-to-day tasks. Sometimes the weather can change quickly and the fog rolls in, which makes the whole place feel different. We are just a regular stop on the mountain road for anyone who needs it. It’s a quiet life compared to the city.
