Ashu Hair Saloon

Ashu Hair Saloon is located on Kanwali Road, right near the Dehradun GPO. Being so close to the main post office means we see a lot of people passing by every single day. I set up this shop at 248001 because it felt like a good central place for a barber. Dehradun is a nice city, and this street has a lot of energy. The shop itself is pretty plain. We have the usual mirrors and a few chairs for customers to sit in. We don't do anything fancy like spa treatments. It’s just a place for a man to get a haircut or a shave without having to spend too much money. I’ve been doing this for a long time, so my hands are used to the shears. We get regulars who have been coming to me since I first started, and we also get people who are just in town for a few days. The shop can get a bit hot in the summer months, but we have a fan that helps. We keep the radio on most of the time to have some background noise. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. No need for complicated bookings, people just show up and wait their turn. We try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting too long. It’s just an honest shop on a busy road. We have been here for a while and plan to stay for much longer.
