University College Of Visual Arts

We are located right here in Vidya Nagar on Dental College Road. Being part of Davangere University means there is always something going on around the campus. It is a place where you can usually find students with charcoal on their hands or paint on their shirts. The studios get pretty busy during the day, and sometimes you see someone just staring at a blank canvas trying to figure out what to do next. We don't have any fancy bells or whistles, just the usual classrooms and some open spaces for working on projects. People from all over the district come here because they want to learn how to draw or sculpt. It can get a bit messy with all the supplies lying around, but that is just part of the process when you are making art. The building itself is straightforward and easy to find once you get near the dental college area. We see a lot of local faces every morning when the gates open up. Sometimes the weather in Davangere gets quite warm, so everyone looks for the cooler spots in the hallways to sit and talk between their sessions. It is not a very loud place, mostly just the sound of pencils scratching or people discussing their work. We have been in this spot for a while now and most people in the neighborhood know where we are. It’s just a regular day here most of the time, and we like it that way because it lets everyone focus.
