You can find us in Purle, which is a part of Shivamogga. It’s a bit away from the very center of the city, so there’s a little more space around the building. The school has been part of this community for a while. We have a decent-sized ground where the kids can run around during their physical education time. The building itself is a simple rectangular shape with a wide veranda. When it rains heavily in Shimoga, the water splashes onto the porch, but we just move the bags inside. The classrooms have high ceilings and fans that hum all day long. We have a small staff room where we keep all the registers and the attendance books. The children come from various parts of Purle and some come from the main town too. They usually arrive on bicycles or walk if they live close enough. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the usual benches, boards, and a few cupboards for science stuff. Every Saturday we have a bit of a shorter day so everyone can head home early. The teachers here have been working together for a long time, so we all know how things run. It’s not a complicated setup. We just open the gates in the morning and do our work until the final bell rings in the afternoon. It’s a practical place for students to spend their day and learn.
