Hoysala College Of Management

Hoysala College Of Management is based on Balaraj Urs Road here in Shimoga. It is a central location, so it is easy enough for everyone to get to by bus or bike. We have been operating out of this building for some time now. It is mostly just classrooms and offices for the staff. We are not trying to be some big, fancy institution with glass walls and expensive furniture. We are a local college where people come to get their management studies done. The atmosphere is usually pretty focused, especially when the exam season is near. You will see students hanging out near the entrance or talking in the hallways between their classes. We spend a good chunk of our day dealing with admissions, schedules, and making sure the professors have what they need for their lectures. It is a lot of administrative work that people do not always see from the outside. The road outside can be noisy with the city traffic, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We do not have any slick marketing teams writing our stuff; it is just us. We keep the place running, fix things when they break, and try to make sure the students are getting what they need. It is a practical environment for learning. When the day ends and the last student leaves, we lock up and head home like everyone else in Shimoga. It is a straightforward way to run a college.
