Sjmm College Of Pharmacy

If you head over to the Jmit Campus in Chitradurga, you'll find the Sjmm College Of Pharmacy. It's tucked away inside the larger campus area, which makes it a bit quieter than being right on a main road. I spend most of my time in the labs or checking on the classrooms. The building is solid, though it shows its age in a few spots here and there. We have a lot of students who come here because they want to work in shops or hospitals later on. It’s a practical place. We have rows of benches and some old cabinets filled with glass bottles and equipment. It doesn't look like those high-tech places you see in magazines, but it works for us. There is a lot of walking between the different parts of the Jmit Campus. Sometimes the fans in the bigger rooms make a clicking noise that you eventually just stop hearing. People who work here mostly just get on with their tasks. It is not about being flashy. We have a small staff room where we drink tea and talk about the schedule. Chitradurga can get quite warm, so we're always looking for a bit of shade during the breaks. The students usually hang out near the entrance between their classes. It’s just a regular college where people come to put in the effort and get their degree. We keep the place running as well as we can every day. We don't have fancy lounges, just desks and books.
