You can find us at Abhiman Chambers. We are on the ground floor, which is handy because you don’t have to wait for any lift. The office is right on Bunts Hostel Road. It’s one of those busy streets in Mangalore where there is always people moving around. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of the street life through the front. We have a few computers and some old calendars on the walls. It’s a simple space. We don’t have any big leather chairs or glass partitions. Most of us have worked together for a while, so it’s a relaxed atmosphere. We drink a lot of coffee during the day. Sometimes it gets a bit loud because of the buses on Bunts Hostel Road, but that’s just life in this part of town. We keep the doors open usually to let the air circulate. The floor is that old-fashioned tile that stays cool in the heat. We don't really do much in the way of decorating. There are some stacks of paper and brochures on the counter that need sorting. We just focus on the work that comes in. If a client walks in, we just pull up a chair and talk. It’s a very plain, honest sort of office. We like being in this location because it’s easy for everyone to reach. It’s a familiar building for most people who grew up around here. We are usually here till the evening.
