Sadan Tourist

We are located in the Milagres Building right in the heart of Hampankatta. It is an old building that has seen a lot of people pass through its doors over the years. We are close to Mothimahal, which most people in Mangalore know very well. Hampankatta is the kind of place where something is always happening, and the traffic is almost never quiet. Our office is a simple one, where we handle tourist bookings and travel arrangements. We have been here for a while, and the furniture shows it a bit, but it is comfortable enough for us. We sit here and deal with the paperwork for buses and cars and whatever else people need to get around. The windows look out towards the street, so we can see the rain coming down during the monsoon months. It is a good spot to watch the city go by. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle for making coffee when it gets a bit slow in the mid-afternoon. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing things into the system. It isn't a glamorous job, but we like the people who come in. They always have a story about where they are going or where they have been. We just help them get the tickets and the plans sorted so they can be on their way. The ceiling fan wobbles a little, but it keeps the air moving while we work.
