Al Ain Communication

Our shop is in the Baby Complex in Derlakatte. If you are familiar with the area, you know it is right on the ground floor and very close to the main bus stand. Being near the bus stand means there is always someone walking past or stopping in to ask a quick question. We handle a lot of communication stuff, which in this day and age means a lot of different things to different people. The office is small and we have filled it with whatever we need to keep things running. It gets quite crowded on market days when everyone from the surrounding villages comes into Derlakatte. We have a few chairs inside, but often people just stand by the counter while we sort out their needs. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't found the time to do it yet. We just focus on the computer screens and the paperwork. It is a noisy spot because of the buses revving their engines right outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We know most of the regular bus drivers and the other shopkeepers in the complex. It is a decent place to work, even if it is a bit cramped when more than three people walk in at once. We just keep at it from morning until we close up for the night, helping whoever comes through the door with their various requests.
