We are located right here in the Alfa Center on the ground floor. If you know the Kankanady area, you probably know the bypass road gets quite busy during the rush hours. Our shop is just across from Sulthan Gold, so it’s easy to find if you are looking for us. We spend most of our days here handling different travel papers and talking to people who walk in from the street. It is not a very big place, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to speak up a bit. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait for their turn. Usually, the mornings are quiet and then things pick up after lunch. We deal with a lot of train and flight stuff, mostly just checking schedules and printing out things for folks. The building itself is okay, nothing too fancy, just a regular Mangalore commercial spot. We’ve seen the shops around us change over the years, but we stay put here. Most people who come in are locals from around Kankanady or people heading towards the city. We keep a stash of pens that always seem to go missing. It is just the way it goes in a small office. We try to keep the desk tidy but with all the files and paperwork, it is a bit of a struggle most days.
