We set up Travels.Com right in the heart of the action at the Service Bus Stand Complex. Being near the Service Bus Station in Surathkal means there is never a quiet moment. There’s always the sound of engines and people rushing to catch their rides. Our office is right there among the other shops. We decided to stay here because this is where the people are. If someone misses their bus or needs a private car instead, they usually walk over to us. It’s a practical setup. We don't have fancy carpets or expensive coffee machines. It’s just a place to get travel sorted. We spend most of our hours talking to drivers and making sure the schedules aren't too messed up. Traffic in Mangalore is getting worse, so that’s a constant headache we have to deal with. We’ve been here long enough that most of the bus drivers know us by name. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us going. We handle bookings for various trips, whether it’s a short hop or something longer across the state. Sometimes we’re still here late in the evening when the last buses are pulling out. We don’t do much fancy talk. We just tell people what’s available and help them book it.
