The Travel House

If you head up to the second floor of City Tower on Maidan Road, you’ll find our office, The Travel House. We are right there at number 21, not far from Rao and Rao Circle. It’s a convenient spot in Mangalore since so much happens around this part of town. We spend our days dealing with all the bits and pieces that go into planning a trip, like looking up flights or sorting out where people are going to stay. The office stays pretty quiet most of the time, except for when the phone is ringing or a customer stops in to pick up their papers. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the travel business and how things work around here. It can get a little crowded in the building during the afternoons, but we’re usually tucked away getting the work done. We’ve been at this for a bit, helping neighbors and people from across the city organize their travels. There’s no big secret to how we do things; we just listen to what you need and try to find a way to make it happen. Sometimes things are straightforward, and other times we have to spend a while looking for the right options. That’s just the nature of the job at a place like ours. We just keep our desks organized and wait for the next person to walk in and tell us where they want to go.
