Taurus Tours & Travels is based at Prameela Nilaya in Kulai. If you know where the railway bridge is in this part of Mangalore, then you’ve probably passed by us. We are in the 575019 area. The railway bridge is a good landmark because the trains go over it all day and night. It’s a bit noisy, but it’s just part of the background now. We run our tours and travel work from here. It’s not a corporate office with a lobby or anything like that. It’s more like a home-based setup where we take care of business. We’ve got our files and our phones and that’s about all we need. Sometimes neighbors stop by to ask about trip costs or to see if we have a car free for the weekend. We don’t have a big marketing department. It’s just us answering the calls and making the schedules. The weather in Mangalore can be a real pain during the monsoon, but we keep things moving regardless. We like the Kulai area because it feels like home. Being near the bridge means we are easy to describe to people who are lost. We just tell them to look for Prameela Nilaya near the tracks. We don't use any fancy talk to get customers. We just say what we can do and then we do it. It works out for everyone in the long run.
