Sayyed Travel Services

Our office is right in the middle of everything in Hampankatta. We are at Sayyed Travel Services, located in Linking Towers, specifically at No.Y-19 on the ground floor. It’s quite easy to find us because we are directly opposite Lady Goschen Hospital. Being in Central Market means there is always something going on outside. The noise from the buses and the people shopping is just part of our daily life here. It’s a small space, but it fits what we need. We spend most of our time at the desks, talking to people who walk in from the street. The hospital across the road is a major landmark, so we often tell people to just look for that. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the papers and folders, but we know where everything is. It’s not a shiny corporate office, just a practical place to work. Sometimes the rain in Mangalore makes the market area a bit messy, but we still open up on time. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the vibe in Hampankatta stays pretty much the same. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing away on the old computers. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure things run like they should. If you’re around the Central Market, you’ll probably see our sign near the entrance of the building. We just do our thing here every day.
