Our office, Mekaster Pvt Ltd, is on Dr C Mathias Road in Mangalore. We are in the Sindhur area and the pin code is 575004. This part of Karnataka has its own pace. It is often humid, but we have a good breeze from the coast. The office is located in a building that has been around for a while. It is a simple setup with a few desks and some cupboards for all our records. We have been operating from here for a good number of years. The people who work here are mostly locals from around Mangalore. We do not have a fancy reception or any big marketing posters. It is just a place where we come to work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on documents. Sometimes we have visitors, and we just pull up a spare chair for them. It is very informal. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making coffee. The street outside can be quite noisy with all the traffic heading towards the main road. We do not follow any strict corporate rules. We just make sure the work gets done by the end of the day. It is a bit cluttered with papers and books, but that is how we like it. It feels like a real workplace. We are just a local company doing our daily business.
