Audit Firm

Out here in Belvai Post, things move at a bit of a slower pace compared to the city. Audit Firm is part of the village in Parambulamoodumarnadu, right at door number 1 98. It is a simple place where we take care of the local accounts and audit work for people in the Mangalore Tq area. People usually just walk in when they have a question about their records. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. It’s just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of ledgers. The weather can get quite humid here, so the fan is always running. Working in a village means you know almost everyone who walks through the door. We spend our days checking entries and making sure the numbers are right for the small shops and farmers around here. It's not a high-pressure corporate environment, but the work is important. Sometimes we have tea while going over the books. If someone is looking for the firm, they just ask around the village and someone points them to our spot. We have been doing this for a while now and the routine stays pretty much the same. It's honest work and we like being part of the community here in this part of Karnataka. We keep our files organized, though the office might look a bit lived-in and old-fashioned.
